Celine d’Aoust inherited a love for gemstones from her mother and grandmother and, from a young age, was fascinated by their energy-inducing properties. Having set up her own jewellery brand in 2009, Celine travels to Jaipur several times a year to select the precious and semi-precious stones she incorporates into her designs. She favours stones in their raw, organic state, complete with inclusions and cloudy areas, and has a soft spot for tourmalines with their remarkably varied colour palette. The bright pink of the natural rough tourmaline on this necklace is enhanced by a simple gold band set with white diamonds.
