EDITOR'S REVIEW
An enduring symbol of the House of Chanel, the camellia became a signature emblem of Coco Chanel after a bouquet of pure white camellias were given to her by Boy Capel, her lover and muse. The flower became a passion of Mademoiselle Chanel, featuring in much of the décor of her Parisian apartment, and it soon started to appear in her designs, from haute couture to fine jewellery and accessories. The beautiful monochrome jewels in the new Camélia Galbé fine jewellery collection encompass rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and Alice bands, all of which pay homage to the bloom so intrinsically linked to the brand's identity. The Chanel Camélia Galbé small black ceramic ring features a black ceramic 'outline' of a camellia, with a single brilliant-cut diamond at its heart. Set on a twisted band of white gold, this bold and sophisticated ring is ultra-feminine. As with all Chanel pieces, one is never enough, and while beautiful worn solo, the Camélia Galbé rings can be stacked to create a bouquet of camellias on your finger.
