Abeille orange sapphire and peridot earrings

Chaumet launched this small but perfectly formed high jewellery collection which features the Maison's iconic bee motif. Called Abeille, the 13-piece collection combines arresting designs - like these mismatched earrings - with exquisite gemstones. The body of the bees have been recreated in orange sapphires and green peridots, with different cuts and colours bringing this industrious insect to vibrant life. The cut-out wings, crafted in white and yellow gold, give the illusion that the bees are suspended on the ear, mid-flight, with a sprinkling of diamonds offering a cool contrast to the coloured gemstones.
