EDITOR'S REVIEW
This white gold Chaumet tiara, from the 2016 La Nature de Chaumet collection, depicts a bouquet of wheat. A headband-style tiara that sits just above the forehead, it offers a less-formal way to wear a head jewel. Wheat is a timeless symbol of the bounty of nature and this very simple design would be as much at home in Ancient Greece as on the head of a bride today. The ripe ears of wheat are bursting with diamonds, with a 3.1 carat pear-shaped diamond set on the side of the band. The skill of Chaumet’s craftsmen is evident in the lifelike rendition of this charming tiara, which really does look like freshly plucked wheat from a summer field, tied around the head.
