EDITOR'S REVIEW
Official sponsors of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique (GPMH) since 2002, Chopard has a tradition of releasing a watch collection marking each year of the vintage Formula 1 car race. This Chopard GPMH Automatic watch is inspired by the classic single-seater cars of the 1970s that once raced the legendary Monte Carlo track. With a 44.5mm titanium case and protected titanium crown, the snailed grey dial has a racing yellow ring around the flange. Central grey luminescent treated hour and minute hands are offset by the yellow seconds hand. The Monaco Historique name is featured in the date window at 3 o'clock, while the caseback is stamped with the GPMH badge. With COSC-chronometer certification, the watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement powering a 46-hour reserve and is water-resistant to 100m. The racing line is maintained with a black calfskin leather aerated strap and contrasting yellow stitching, secured to the wrist with a titanium pin buckle.
