EDITOR'S REVIEW
This ring is no longer available.
There has been an explosion of jewellery this year featuring coloured gemstones in eye-popping colours, and Chopard's Imperiale ring in 18ct rose gold, set with a 7.30ct cushion-cut purple amethyst, is one of The Jewellery Editor's favourites. Following the successful relaunch of its Imperiale watch family in 2010, Chopard extended the line to include jewels featuring semi-precious, soft-hued stones, such as pink quartz, chalcedony and amethyst, set in fine, open work white and rose gold. The look is light and young and in keeping with a more discreet take on adornment. Launched in 2012, Chopard's Imperiale amethyst ring in 18ct rose gold resembles a glowing talisman, with the vivid, multi-faceted amethyst nestled within a protective casing of rose gold petals, giving a tantalising glimpse of the multi-faceted precious stone.
