Celebrating its partnership with Porsche, the Swiss watchmaker Chopard has launched the Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition watch, marking Porsche's return to Le Mans, the legendary 24-hour motor race. Every inch as racy as the car, it combines the sophisticated functions of a flyback chronograph with the accuracy required to obtain a COSC chronometer certification. The imposing stainless steel 45mm case and silvered dial with red accents emulate the bodywork of the hybrid racing car and features the red Porsche 919 logo at 9 o'clock. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the in-house mechanical self-winding movement that keeps the chronograph functions as well as the time and date running for up to 60 hours. This driving watch is presented on a black rubber strap in keeping with a racing vibe. The Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 edition is limited to 919 pieces.
