Defying gravity and belief, Cindy Chao’s creations are astonishingly light yet every nook and cranny shimmers with precious gems. The Phoenix Feather brooch is on fire with 1,000 diamonds in 36 different colours, yet thanks to its titanium frame weighs a mere 78 grams. Amongst the mesmerising display of colours are a rare chameleon diamond and a drop-shape fancy vivid orangey yellow diamond. Each of the barbs of the feather are articulated giving a life-like movement to this spectacular jewel.
