A gleaming white marble column rises out of a yellow gold band in this Incomplete Column ring by Completedworks. Crafted from marble sourced in Carrara, Italy, the base of the column is surrounded by diamonds. Founded in 2013 by siblings Mark and Anna Jewsbury, London-based Completedworks creates fine jewellery collections that are rooted in political or cultural observations. The Pillar Diamond collection is inspired by ruined architectures with pieces that capture both the elegance and fragility of the classical column. The combination of purist, clean lines and unusual materials caught the eye of Stephen Webster, and Completedworks is exhibiting as part of Rock Vault at London Fashion Week in autumn 2015.
