Corum’s AC (Admiral’s Cup) watches have been firmly anchored in the nautical world since their release in 1960, and stand out from the fleet with their dodecagonal bezel and the nautical pennants on the dial. The AC-One Tides watch is a professional sailing companion designed to indicate the time and strength of the tides, the phases of the Moon, as well as the strength of the currents and the height of the tides. The Tides watch was first launched in 1993 and is one of very few complications of its kind. The new AC-One Tides watch comes with a striking red dial and three easy-to-read subdials with vital information for any skipper: the phases of the Moon, which in turn determine tidal movements, and the strength of the tide are indicated at 12 o’clock; the counter at 6 o’clock displays the two tides for the next 24 hours; and the one positioned at 9 o’clock will let you know whether the tide is rising or ebbing, along with its current strength. The large but lightweight 45mm titanium case houses Corum’s famous CO 277 calibre and is water-resistant to depths of 300 metres. A true Prince of Tides for any serious mariner.
