D de Dior watch with a sugilite dial

The purple dial of the D de Dior Granville watch is a slice of an unusual Japanese gemstone called sugilite, which has a strong purple hue that clashes wonderfully with the aquamarine-coloured patent strap. The watch has a yellow gold case measuring a petite 25mm, with diamond accents on the crown and a ring of light-pinkish rubies encircling the bezel. Powered by a quartz movement, four diamonds mark the hours at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
