Forever seeking to push the boundaries of horology, DeLaneau combines exceptional craftsmanship with precious materials and rare techniques. Today it is a world leader in the art of enamelling, a technique that is shown off to exquisite effect on the Rondo Parrot Wing watch, from the Movement collection. With a hand-painted Champlevé Grand Feu enamel dial, the watch depicts the purple wing of a parrot in flight, with bezel-set amethysts picking out the bird's plumage against a golden backdrop. The 42mm red gold case is illuminated by 69 diamonds on the bezel and lugs and presented on a ribbed fuchsia fabric strap, which is fastened by a red gold diamond-set buckle. The Swiss-made automatic movement complements the outward beauty of this watch, which is a work of art, inside and out.
