EDITOR'S REVIEW
The intricate filigree lattice on these rose gold earrings from Dionea Orcini jewellery was inspired by a 6,000-year-old sacred geometric shape. Known as the Flower of Life, the motif consists of evenly spaced overlapping circles and is believed to have healing powers. Dionea used computer technology to recreate the pattern on these earrings, accentuated with white diamonds and champagne morganites. Half Italian and half Slovenian, Dionea grew up in Europe before moving to the US to study architecture. An unexpected encounter with an emerald-coloured tourmaline in Brazil ignited her passion for fine jewellery and led to the launch of her eponymous line where each piece is infused with stories of ancient legends and symbolism.
