EDITOR'S REVIEW
These unusual earrings from the Dior à Versailles high jewellery collection, inspired by the Palace of Versaille and its late-night goings on, are a clash of colours. Two large yellow diamonds are framed by round white diamonds in rose gold settings, fixed to earring posts made in yellow gold and lined with channel-set diamonds. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of these earrings are the ribbons of blackened silver that swirl around the earrings. The silver – a nod to the usual metal choice for high jewellery at the time of the Palace of Versailles – has been studded with contrasting round and baguette-cut diamonds, and clashes wonderfully against the yellow diamonds. In true Dior spirit, look closely at these earrings and you’ll spot the asymmetry.
