The Dior VIII Grand Bal Coquette watch has an inimitable design that puts its showgirl feathers to good use. Inspired by a Mexican dress from Dior’s 2015 collection, the distinctive sweeping feature of the gown is epitomised on the dial, made up of 59 feathers, tsavorite garnets, sapphires and diamonds. This Dior watch takes an innovative approach towards incorporating aesthetics into the automatic movement that powers the watch - the rotor is placed directly on the blue lacquered dial, creating an exotic display as it responds to the wearer’s movements. The Dior VIII Grand Bal Coquette watch has a 36mm polished stainless steel case and is bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds, decorated with a white mother-of-pearl ring. It is a limited edition of only 88 pieces, each one coyly and coquettishly fanning itself in feigned humility.
