EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Dior Grand Bal watch collection pays homage to the couture and talent of the seamstresses of La Maison de Dior. This stunning Dior VIII Grand Bal Fil de Soie timepiece features the signature rotor movement visible on the dial of the watch, hand-stitched with 1.5m of green silk thread in an intricate web created on an old-fashioned bobbin by a lace maker in Puy, France. With a 38mm rose gold case set with delicate diamond pavé, the Vietnamese black mother-of-pearl dial is studded with small round diamonds, depicting the night sky. The dial has an inner circle of diamonds that frame the heart of the rose gold hour and minute hands. The signature visible rotor is powered by an in-house automatic movement: Dior's Inversé 11 ½" calibre. To complete the elegant look, this Dior VIII Grand Bal Fil de Soie watch, limited to 88 pieces, is presented on patent black leather strap.
