Mahenge spinel is a special type of gem found in Tanzania that is famed for its neon-bright pink color. LA-based jeweler Erica Courtney has a passion for Mahenge spinels and has used them to create this elaborate pendant and chain, which can be bought separately. The yellow gold pendant, which has been studded with white diamonds, has a 3.6ct Mahenge spinel at its center. The 19-inch chain, crafted from yellow gold and decorated with bezel-set white diamonds, features a further 11.62cts of Mahenge spinels.
