A red lacquered antique Chinese button is surrounded by diamonds in this rose gold ring by Italian jewellery designer Francesca Villa. The unusual centre stone is typical of Francesca's one-of-a-kind jewellery designs, which are always created around unusual objects picked up on her travels. Based in Rome, she set up Francesca Villa jewellery in 2007 after many years designing jewels for a renowned Italian goldsmith, working with luxury houses such as Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.
