EDITOR'S REVIEW
Designed to last the rest of the century, the Frédérique Constant Perpetual Calendar watch is one that can be handed down through the next three generations without ever needing an adjustment. Presented in a slim 42mm stainless steel case, the watch is the brand’s first perpetual calendar movement, but the 19th to be created entirely in-house. Produced and assembled in the brand’s Plan-les-Ouates ateliers, the watch features an in-house FC-775 automatic calibre, which drives the hour and minute hands as well as the perpetual calendar. The unassuming, yet incredibly advanced, FC-775 calibre measures just 6.7mm thick, has 26 jewels, and a 38-hour power reserve. More incredible though is the beguilingly affordable price tag for a perpetual calendar watch, which will keep on ticking into the next century.
