London-based Hannah Martin was among the 36 designers who recently took part in a fine jewellery collaboration with Gemfields, the world's leading producer of ethically sourced coloured stones. In keeping with her cutting-edge style, Martin created these graphic emerald earrings, with a centerpiece of two Gemfields Zambian emeralds totalling 1.34ct, around which wrap hexagons of rose gold that extend downwards in angular layers. There is no need to save them for evening wear either - the emeralds can be removed and worn as colourful studs during the day.
