EDITOR'S REVIEW
Harry Winston is a daringly creative watchmaker keen on exploring unusual artistic techniques to embellish the dials of its Premier watch collection. In this case the art of Raden, a Japanese decorative craft usually employed to embellish lacquerware, has found its way on to the watch faces. To create a shimmering chrysanthemum flower on the dial, artisans have literally woven slivers of mother-of-pearl with a thin mesh of silk thread. Housed in a 36mm rose gold case, the watch is equipped with a Swiss automatic movement, which you can view through the caseback. The Premier case, an iconic case shape that echoes the keystone of the arched doorway leading into Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue boutique, is set with a total of 74 brilliant-cut diamonds and is presented on an elegant black satin strap. A limited edition of just 30 pieces, each watch is a unique work of art.
