EDITOR'S REVIEW
The rich rosy hue of these earrings has been created by applying heat to aluminium - a process called anodising. The application of heat changes the colour of the metal, and the expert craftsmen at German jewellery house Hemmerle have used this technique to achieve a vibrant colour that perfectly matches the pink diamonds at the centre of these floral-inspired earrings. To build on the texture and drama created by the aluminium petals, Hemmerle has inversely set the coloured diamonds to create a spiky effect. These earrings are from Hemmerle’s The [AL] Project and there have been only one pair made.
