Clematis aluminium, sapphire and diamond brooch

This striking design was the only brooch to be included in The [AL] Project by Hemmerle, a small collection of aluminium jewellery that was otherwise restricted to earrings. The design is a one-off and would make for an ideal collector’s piece. The purple leaves of this brooch, which takes inspiration from the Clematis flower, have been made in aluminium, which is then anodised to create the purple colour. At the centre of the brooch is a white gold bud set with lilac sapphires and diamonds.
