EDITOR'S REVIEW
Distinguished by an upper horseshoe-shaped attachment through which the strap is threaded - which harks back to the days when Hermès was a renowned saddle-maker in Paris - the Hermès Arceau watch is a true classic. Designed in 1978 by Henri d'Origny, its elegant style encapsulates the brand's refined French aesthetic. The Hermès Arceau Grand Lune is one of the latest models to be launched in the Arceau collection. A complete calendar watch, with two apertures, one for the day, the other for the month, it has a distinctive midnight blue moonphase at 6 o'clock, which is fitted to a self-winding mechanical movement. Finished with a matt havana alligator strap and distinctive sloping numerals on the dial, turn the watch over and you can view the Dubois-Dépraz-designed movement through the transparent case back.
