EDITOR'S REVIEW
Incorporating a unique horological complication developed exclusively by Hermès, the Arceau Le Temps Suspendu allows you to literally stop time. On the 38mm rose gold case, which is decorated with diamonds, a push button can be pressed that brings the hour and minute hands to a standstill at 12 o'clock. When the button is pressed again, the hands return to their usual time-telling position. Between 3 and 6 o'clock is a sub-dial with a 24-seconds running indicator, which whizzes around the dial, but not in the way you anticpiate, subverting time by travelling anti-clockwise. To remind you of Hermès' playful taunting of time, the words 'Le temps suspendu' appear are inscribed on the face in elegant, looping letters.
