EDITOR'S REVIEW
Hermès is synonymous with the world’s most beautiful leather products and has established a name for itself as a reputable watchmaker, with its own watch manufacture in Switzerland. Combine the two and delightful products like the Pocket Plein Cuir are born, a pocket watch nestled inside a colourful alligator jacket. The dash of colour brings a contemporary touch to this classic pocket watch. The generous 54mm white gold case frames a white dial crafted using grand feu enamel technique with black enamel Roman numerals. Equipped with a mechanical automatic movement, calibre H1912, with a robust power reserve of 50 hours, the fine decoration on the movement, with its characteristic sprinkling of the letter H, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. Presented on a 23cm long white gold chain, the only decision to make is choosing the colour of the leather sheath, which comes in sapphire blue, burgundy or elephant grey alligator leather.
