The fastest man on earth, Usain Bolt is all too familiar with split-second performances and the value of reliable timing. To celebrate the athlete’s extraordinary track record, Hublot created this Big Bang Unico Usain Bolt chronograph in black ceramic. The virile 45mm satin-finished and polished black ceramic case features six H-shaped screws on the bezel representing the sprinter’s six gold medals. The openworked dial also makes allusions to this formidable athlete with gold and green details and a lightning bolt for the central chronograph hand, as well as a silhouette of the athlete in his classic lightning bold pose inserted in the subdial at 9 o’clock. For a man whose career is forged on split-second timing and speed, a chronograph to measure elapsed times is the most fitting complication. Equipped with a mechanical in-house flyback chronograph movement with calendar display at 3 o’clock, this handsome Hublot Big Bang chronograph in black ceramic is limited to 250 pieces. The strap is a combination of black rubber and Schedoni leather, and embossed with the Jamaican flag.
