Russian jeweller Ilgiz Fazulzyanov has managed to find beauty in the humble seagull, giving it a precious overhaul in these Winter Forest earrings. The two gulls have been beautifully realised in vitreous enamel, and set on a background of 18 carat white gold and diamond clouds. At the base of the earrings, representing water, are two slices of aquamarine. The semi-circular gemstones have a smooth top and a faceted edge, and the natural inclusions in the stones perfectly represent the choppy nature of the sea. The earrings, which feel light when on the ear, have a total diamond weight of 3.86 carats.
