Combining the beauty of the flying tourbillon with the functional complication of the perpetual calendar, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grand Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique Quantième Perpétuel is an elegant and refined watch from the Master collection. The 42mm white gold watch houses a striking blue grained dial with a flying tourbillon and three perpetual calendar sub-dials. The perpetual calendar is set by a single pusher and features a date window at 9 o'clock, a sub-dial for the month and year, as well as a sign of the Zodiac at 12 o'clock, while the day of the week aperture at 3 o'clock also indicates the phases of the Moon. At 6 o'clock, the tourbillon, housed within a titanium cage, dances hypnotically. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back is the automatic chronometer movement, calibre 985. The exquisite gold oscillating weight is engraved with an homage to the gold medal won by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889.
