EDITOR'S REVIEW
Elegant and refined, Jaeger-LeCoultre's Rendez Vous has become a signature collection for the Swiss watchmaker. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez Vous Date is the most petite watch in the collection. With a rose gold case measuring just 27.7mm, its feminine proportions don't compromise the powerful automatic movement within. Visible through a sapphire crystal case back, the calibre 966 movement is one of the smallest in production and is testimony to Jaeger-LeCoultre's pioneering horological craftsmanship and expertise in the miniaturisation of calibres. The movement is made up of 214 parts with one barrel and 28 jewels. With 28,800 vph the timepiece has a power reserve of 42 hours and is waterproof to 30m. The silvered dial features guilloché engraving echoing the subtle folds and texture of silk. The timepiece has 1930s inspired Arabic numerals encircling the dial and blued vintage florale hour, minute and second hands, with the date aperture at 6 o'clock. The silken dial is completed with a sparkling bezel of 60 faceted round-cut diamonds and is presented on a rose gold link chain bracelet.
