EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duetto Classique watch features two faces in a single timepiece, powered by one movement. The original Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch, created in 1931 for British Army officers on the polo field in India, has been given a twist and features two very different dials. With its signature Art Deco watch case, crafted from pink gold, the bezel on both dials is set with white diamonds. The 'verso' dial features a silvered face engraved with a sunburst guilloché motif, appliqué floral numerals and an inner minute track. With one simple movement the watch face flips to reveal a second dial with its own unique character. The elegant black 'recto' dial is engraved with sunray guilloché emanating from the hours and minutes counter, framed in pink gold. With two gilt floral numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, the hours and minutes are indicated by petite pink gold dauphine-shaped hands. The watch is powered by the JLC calibre 865, a hand-wound movement that provides a power reserve of 48 hours and is water resistant to 30m. Secured on a brown alligator leather strap, the watch is fastened with a double folding buckle.
