EDITOR'S REVIEW
First developed in 1931 to prevent damage to a watch face during polo matches, the reversible dial of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso timepiece is considered a masterpiece. The square features of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Squadra Lady Duetto watch create an elegant and feminine silhouette and, with its two dials, it is a timepiece of multiple personalities. This model features a diamond-set rose gold case measuring 42 by 28.8mm. The silvered front dial is engraved with a guilloché sunray pattern around the inner minute track that houses a delicate day/night dial decorated with a Sun and Moon. The date function has been cleverly integrated into the 6 o'clock numeral. When desired, the watch can be reversed to reveal the contrasting black dial enlivened by the visible oscillating rotor. The Duetto timepiece is powered by a mechanical self-winding movement, calibre 968, that has a 42-hour power reserve. The watch is presented on a tonal rose gold bracelet that features the Jaeger-LeCoultre fast strap changing system.
