This exceptional floral dial was created by artisans at Jaquet Droz using a combination of engraving, sculpting and enamelling directly inspired by an ancestral Asian technique known as Najeon Chilgi. In this case, the mother-of-pearl dial is covered with black lacquer, polished and then carefully engraved to create the different flowers that emerge dramatically from the dark background. Housed in an elegant 35mm red gold Heure Minute case, with its hallmark off-centre hours and minutes dial at 12 o’clock, the bezel is illuminated with a flourish of diamonds. This red gold model forms part of a limited edition of 28 pieces.
