EDITOR'S REVIEW
A double-strand necklace of pearls, and emerald and ruby beads broken up by larger-cut emeralds, leads down to a spectacular diamond pavé pendant decorated with a fan of marquise-cut rubies and square-cut emeralds. The highly tactile lower section of the John Rubel pendant is fringed with a tassel of pearls, with tiny bright emerald beads intermittently breaking up the creamy, lustrous strings. The necklace takes its name from a French singer and actress from the late 19th and early 20th centuries known as Mistinguett, who was at one point the highest-paid female entertainer in the world.
