Louis Vuitton is famed for creating an 'art for travel'. Indeed the monogrammed trunk has been at the heart of the Parisian fashion house's heritage since 1854. Diversifying from luxury luggage, Louis Vuitton has more recently made its mark in the world of fine jewellery and watches. The new Emprise collection unites these two. The Emprise collection of watches and jewellery takes the essence of the iconic monogrammed trunk and plays with the concept of strength and protection at the heart of a travelling chest. This striking Emprise cocktail ring features nine beautifully cut amethysts, set in a yellow gold cage reminiscent of the protective design of a trunk. Consisting of four baguette-cut, four triangle-cut and one large square-cut amethyst, the vibrant gems sit atop an angular yellow gold band, with protective studs encircling the base.
