A yellow and white gold ring from the iconic French design house Louis Vuitton. The symbolism of this ring is clear with the band of yellow gold locked to a ring of white gold with a tiny LV monogrammed padlock. Like a half-opened Louis Vuitton trunk, the two rings are hinged together with LV nails. The Parisian trend of couples attaching inscribed padlocks to bridges, before throwing they key into the Seine, has become a symbol of love throughout many capital cities. Louis Vuitton pays homage to these lovelocks and to its own heritage of luxury luggage.
