EDITOR'S REVIEW
The padlock that has featured on Louis Vuitton’s trunks since 1890 to guard its clients’ personal belongings is now a symbol of the luxury brand’s promise to help protect vulnerable children around the world. The sterling silver bracelet has been created as part of Louis Vuitton’s partnership with UNICEF, with £140 from each sale going directly to the charity. UNICEF relies entirely on voluntary donations to provide protection and support for children in war zones or countries affected by disease or natural disasters. As Louis Vuitton CEO Michael Burke puts it: “Our goal is to reach as many people as possible, ask them to share our promise and make a real difference.”
