The name of Louis Vuitton's latest watch for men gives you an idea of what you can expect from this distinctly masculine new timepiece. The Tambour eVolution is the next chapter in the maison's collection of Tambour watches. The more complex of the two new Tambour eVolution models, the Chrono GMT is powered by a self-winding LV92 movement. The red hand indicates the secondary time zone, while the day and night indicator appears next to the elapsed time counters of the chronograph function. Vuitton has tweaked and refined the distinctive drum-shaped case, giving it sleeker lines and a more edgy aesthetic, and where the words 'Louis Vuitton' once appeared there is now a graphic 'V' flanking the crown. Innovation, meanwhile, is never far away: sandwiched between the pink gold of the case on the eVolution Chrono GMT model is a futuristic, high-tech material - the lightweight and ultra-resilient Black Metal Matrix Composite - which is more commonly used in the construction of space shuttles and Formula 1 driving.
