EDITOR'S REVIEW
Since 2013, Chanel watches has been utilising the skills of the artisans at the famed embroidery atelier La Maison Lesage, which works closely with Chanel on its haute couture collections, to create some of the most original watches around. The Mademoiselle Privé Embroidered Camélia watch incorporates elements from Mademoiselle Chanel’s world into the dial, from the delicate leaves and stems of the camellia flowers - her favourite bloom - embroidered in beige silk thread, to the perfect white orbs forming the petals, capturing Coco Chanel’s well-documented love of pearls. The beige-gold case - an alloy exclusive to Chanel - is set with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, and the crown has been removed so as not to detract from the purity of the design.
