EDITOR'S REVIEW
This Montblanc Pulsograph watch, housed in a 41mm rose gold case, is a monopusher chronograph with a pulsometer scale on the periphery of the dial. The Montblanc Meisterstück collection is named after the iconic 1924 fountain pen upon which this house has written its reputation. Meisterstück is the German word for masterpiece and the watches grouped in this family are top-quality, classically-inspired pieces. This logarithmic scale is calibrated for 30 pulse beats with subdivisions for each 10th and 5th pulsation along a railroad-style track. The measurement of the pulse is indicated with the central seconds hand, which has a red-tipped point. The in-house manual-winding movement has luxurious finishes that can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback and comes on a black alligator strap with large scales and a rose gold buckle.
