EDITOR'S REVIEW
A total of 4.10cts of loose pinkish rubies have been trapped within white sapphire cases in these Reverse earrings by New York jeweller Moritz Glik. The carved sapphire cases are edged with yellow gold and framed with textured blackened silver. Only half-filled with rubies, this allows the gemstones to roll around with the movement of the wearer. The design of the earrings is asymmetrical, with one half setting a larger ruby-filled sapphire case above a smaller one, while the other reverses the order. The earrings, which have a drop of 32mm, have been fitted with yellow gold hooks.
