EDITOR'S REVIEW
To debut its latest technological innovation, NOMOS Glashütte has launched the slick and stylish Metro Datum Gangreserve watch. Designed by Berlin-based Mark Braun, the timepiece features a quirky galvanised white silver-plated dial that is reminiscent of 1950s northern European design. The Metro Datum Gangreserve watch has a red, black and mint-green colour palette that picks out the delicate black hour and minute hands, the date aperture and the asymmetrical power reserve indicator. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back is the NOMOS manual winding calibre DUW 4401 and the pioneering swing system, which powers this mechanical watch - built in-house by NOMOS Glashütte and designed to ensure the watch keeps perfect time. The Metro Datum Gangreserve watch showcases this brand-new escapement, which will be rolled out across the NOMOS Glashütte collections by 2016.
