Nomos watches, the German brand from Glashütte, is gaining momentum by the minute and has received international design awards for its minimalist, Bauhaus-inspired watches and a cult following thanks to its attractive prices. Last year we were introduced to the Metro watch, which returns this year as the Nomos Metro Datum men's watch, with a larger case size of 38.5mm and a pared-down dial. As with all Nomos watches, the calibre inside the case is made entirely in-house and features the unique Swing System escapement to power the hours, minutes, small seconds and date for years to come.
