With a name that translates from Arabic as “Light of the Moon”, the Noor el Amar ring in 18ct white gold is set with round brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds and a rock crystal cabochon. The Atelier Mystique collection by Lebanese jewellery designer Noor Fares is bursting with beautiful and meaningful statement pieces, with this ring being part of a set that also includes a pendant and earrings. The three jewels together represent the Sun and the Moon. Noor’s design process was led by the gemstones and their optical phenomena, or play on light, which is said to impart a healing energy on the wearer.
