EDITOR'S REVIEW
The silhouette of the Constellation Pluma timepiece is instantly recognisable as a classic Omega watch. The steel and yellow gold strap elegantly merges into the round 27mm steel case with a diamond-set yellow gold bezel interrupted by the signature Constellation claws. The champagne mother-of-pearl face is engraved with feather-like waves that fan across the dial, after which the watch is named - Pluma being the Latin for feather. The golden dial is punctuated with 11 round diamond indices and a date window at 3 o'clock, while the yellow gold hour and minute hands are luminescent treated for maximum legibility. Powered by the revolutionary Omega Co-Axial chronometer movement, the watch has at 50-hour power reserve and is water-resistant to 100 meters. The Co-Axial escapement was developed in 1999 to ensure greater mechanical efficiency, reducing friction to maximise durability and provide outstanding chronometric performance, all of which is evidenced by the COSC-certification of this timepiece.
