EDITOR'S REVIEW
Omega watches' Speedmaster is the only timepiece to have touched down on the surface of the Moon - on the wrist of Buzz Aldrin during the epic Apollo 11 Moon landing of 1969. One of Omega's bestsellers and a true icon in the watchmaking world, the Speedmaster Moonwatch never fails to fascinate and has been re-edited this year in the new Dark Side of the Moon ceramic collection. The stealthy Black Black model is by far the darkest sibling with its 44.25mm brushed black ceramic case, matte black ceramic dial, and black chronograph counters, hands, pushers, crown and hallmark bezel with a black laquered tachymeter scale. Even on the darkest nights, the men's watch glows with an eerie light thanks to the coating of black Super-LumiNova on the indices, hands and vital functions. Powered by a proprietary Omega Co-Axial chronograph movement, the watch has a 60-hour power reserve and is presented on a black nylon strap.
