French jewellery designer Ornella Iannuzzi recently launched a diffusion line called Les Corallines that journeys beneath the waves, seeking out writhing coral formations to transform into wearable jewels. In keeping with Iannuzzi's signature baroque style, this stunning gold Coralline Reef ring is ablaze with a Wello opal, which looks like the planet Earth viewed through technicolour glasses. The Wello opal was only recently discovered in Ethiopia and it has become something of an obsession for Iannuzzi. Also available in silver, set with a Tahitian pearl or a cabochon gemstone of your choice, this mini sculpture of a ring is destined to be the centre of attention.
