EDITOR'S REVIEW
A tribute to the classic 1940 Radiomir watch, the Panerai Radiomir 1940 Chronograph combines the brand's signature Italian flair and styling with outstanding robustness. The Oro Blanco model features a retro cushion-shaped 45mm white gold case with screw-down crown and chronograph pushers. The black sandwich dial has a thoroughly vintage aesthetic with its sand-coloured features. A two-layer structure, the dial is crafted from a bottom plate coated in luminous material beneath the top black dial, which has precision-cut holes for the hour markers, allowing the luminescence to shine through. With a vintage-style tachymetre scale, chronograph dual-registers at 9 and 3 o'clock and central hour, minute and chronograph hands, the watch is equipped with a manual-winding Panerai OP XXV calibre, offering a power reserve of up to 55 hours. The watch is worn on a black alligator leather strap with contrasting white stitching.
