EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Parmigiani Hippologia clock is a true masterpiece, created by master watchmaker and restorer Michel Parmigiani in association with French glassmaker Lalique. It draws inspiration from the concept of tempus fugit, translating as “time flies”. Time runs wild and free, and the idea of taming it gave birth to the mare and foal concept. The Parmigiani clock features no less than 2,200 components, all powered by a traditional manual-winding mechanism. The clock window displays the hours and minutes, and is set with white and champagne diamonds. The mare and foal are beautifully crafted; their bodies are hand-engraved, while their head, tail and hooves are cast in silver and their eyes set with white diamonds. The finishes on the table clock mechanism are in the great classic tradition of Haute Horlogerie, making Hippologia the ultimate representation of fine craftsmanship.
