The Porsche Design studio manufactures award-winning objects from watches to high-rise towers and crane cabins. Ergonomics and sleek contemporary design are the trademarks of Porsche Design. The 1919 Datetimer watch is directly inspired by the legendary Porsche 356 sports car with its curvaceous aerodynamic profile and pure, minimalist lines. Like the famous car, the watch is lightweight yet robust thanks to its titanium case and aerated lugs that are one of the strongest design traits. The numerals and logo are in keeping with the font design used in Porsche automobiles and the screwed-down crown and caseback ensure the watch is water-resistant to 100 metres. Fitted with a Swiss mechanical automatic movement, the watch comes on a racy black rubber strap with a folding clasp.
